Can I alter the sequence accounts appear in the sidebar?
Daffy Duck
I can see that Quicken sidebar arranges the accounts into groups and then displays them in alphabetical order. I there a way to rearrange the order the accounts appear in other than renaming them to make alphabetical order work

No, not currently. The developers have indicated that they plan to give users more control over organizing the left sidebar, but we have no idea when such functionality will appear.
What I do is add a prefix to my account names to control the order, like this:
1-Checking
2-Cash
3-Visa
4-Amex
I find this pretty unobtrusive and gives me the customized order I prefer.
