I have used QUicken for my checking for over ten years. Just recently it started asking for my password repeatedly. SOMETIMES 3 OR 4 TIMES IN SUCCESSION! I do not use it to pay bills or any other function that would be over the internet.
It is merely a reference file for me. I do not need or want it password protected. How do I get it to stop doing this?0 -
Please provide the version of Quicken being used: select Help > About Quicken0

I have been having the same problem every time I open Quicken, even though I do not have a password required upon startup in my preferences. This issue just started maybe a week ago. I'm using version R30.14 on Windows.0

- Select Edit > Preferences...
- Select Quicken ID & Cloud Accounts
- Select Sign in as a different user
- Enter yes
- Select Sign Out
- Sign in with the original Quicken ID.
