How can I change the username & password for a financial institution in the password vault? Only options for changing password are shown.

To reset the username, deactivate the Online Services of the registers associated with the original username and provide the new credentials when you subsequently set up the Online Services. You may want to review: https://www.quicken.com/support/reactivating-deactivated-account

Yes, you are correct, the Password Vault only holds the passwords for your Financial Institution. (You can see additional information about the Password Vault here.)
If you need to change both the login and password for a particular Financial Institution, see the article @Sherlock astutely referenced. Then LINK your account(s) carefully.0 -
