How do I synchronize Account Bar value for 401(k) plan to current Market Value in Holdings?
RBrunson
The account value displayed for my 401(k) plan in the “Account Bar” list and in the “Transaction View” is substantially less than the “Market Value” that is shown in the “Holdings” view. (The “Account Bar” list is set to “Show Current Balance in Account in Account Bar.”) The “Market Value” in the “Holdings” view is correct and up-to-date. How can I synchronize the display of this value so the same value is shown in all three places and the “Net Worth” at the bottom of the “Accounts Bar” reports accurately? Thanks for your help!
Here’s my version and environment:
- Quicken 2020 Quicken Home, Business and Rental Property (USA Downloaded), R30.14, Build 27.1.30.14
- Microsoft Windows Home, Version 2004 (Build 19041.685)
- Folder Path to the Quicken Data File: C:\Users\<username>\Documents\Quicken\

Hello, Sherlock:
Following the instructions in the link you posted to "Validate and Repair" synchronized the 401(k) plan account balances being reported. Much appreciated!
Thank you and Happy New Year!
