Missing Securities

Question

I recently noticed an anomaly in that the values in my investment accounts on the investing tab differed from the values on the same accounts in the summary on the home page. 
 Some investigation showed that my most recent security purchases appeared on the investing tab, but not on the summary on the home page. This is a new problem and I can see no obvious way to resolve it.
