How do I create a report by category and/or payee month by month for full quarter/year?

For example, the row is by category/payee with row total. Columns for each month of a specified quarter/year with column total.

    For a category report with monthly (e.g.) columns Reports > Spending > Income and Expense by Category.

    For payees, same menu location - Income and Expense by Payee

    Quicken Windows and Mac subscription.  Quicken user since 1990.

    To build on @MontanaKarl's post, if you want to see the transactions that produced a particular number in the report, you can double-click on the number.
