Quicken 17 updated and now found a lot of my data corrupted.

quicken 17 but updated and found  a lot of my data corrupted.  Should I uninstall old and start new

    What update did you apply?  I'm not aware of anything being done to QW2017.
    R20.5 was the last patch to QW2017 (US) and it was released in May, 2020.
