Quicken & Internet Explorer: syncing issues with random reconciled transactions

I just went to sync my quicken accounts with several banks. I received error code OL-220-A on one and had several transactions with another that were either eliminated from one bank (Marcus) and completely different reconciled transactions for (Ally) that are not accurate. Completely messed up my balances. I validated my data and nothing is showing up. I spoke to one bank (Veritex) that says that quicken is using internet explorer and it is not working correctly since most banks no longer support internet explorer. Can anyone explain this? I spent hours finding numerous errors in my balances.

I suggest you ignore what the person at the bank told you.
For OL-220A, I suggest you review: https://www.quicken.com/support/error-message-ol-220-ol-221-ol-222-ol-223-ol-224-ol-225-or-ol-226-when-using-online-services
Marcus by Goldman Sachs only supports the Express Web Connect connection method. I suggest you contact Quicken Support: https://www.quicken.com/support/quicken-support-options
If Ally is AllyBank, I suggest using the Web Connect connection method. If the downloaded QFX file provides transactions that are not accurate, I suggest you contact the financial institution.0
