Just updated to R31.8 Deluxe and now can not access Account Bar

More details, please.If the Account Bar was closed by mistake, click on the little triangle to the left of the word ACCOUNTS where the Account Bar should be.If it's some other issue, please show us a screen image snapshot of your Quicken window,sensitive information blacked out as necessary to protect your privacy but annotated to describe the situation, and attach the image(s) here?BTW, if you are using "Popup registers", the Account Bar is only available on the main Quicken window.
Please save images to files of file type PNG, JPG, or GIF only. They're easier to work with than PDF files.

When I go to drop down menu to get account list to show , the program will not accept my request when I want to dock the account bar on the left or right. The last update affected this. Was ok prior to this morning’s update to R31.8 build 27.1.31.80

Just figured it out, by up checking full screen, the account list showed up. Your update must have checked that box.0
