I Want a Report Report that Subtotals my Subcategories

Question

When I run a report on a category, I get one total for all the transactions. But I would like the report sub-totaled by the sub-categories.  I have not been able to figure out how to do this.

What report are you running?  If you use the Itemized Categories report it subtotals by the category/sub-category (as many levels as you have).

If you're running a Transaction report on a category, select Category in the Subtotal by: pull-down menu and the report will include subtotals of the sub-categories of the category.
