Logging into Bank

I have Switched banks and it finds the bank ok but it will quicken will not allow me to set up the connection it is town and country bank of Missouri.

    To add the account to the Quicken file, I suggest you sign in to the financial institution's web site, download the available transactions for the account, and import the .QFX file.

    Not sure what you are saying..... there are some glitches today - they may be it -
    Here is the Quicken info - As mentioned above by @Sherlock , you can try logging into the bank website and manually downloading a QFX file - and then Import it -
    Also - Quicken supports connecting to the bank with One Step Update -

    I can follow you procedure and log into the website and download the cleared items.
    but doesn't that defeat the purpose of being able to do a on step from in quicken?

    No. It does not defeat the purpose of being able to do a on step from in quicken.  It should add the correct type of account and provide Quicken with the appropriate information to properly identify the financial institution to enable you to setup the Express Web Connect connection method.
