Entering non-traditional investments (LLC investments, notes, etc.) that are not securities

How can I enter these and track them over time? The security part seems to take over. I'm just looking to put them in at their cost basis and then manually enter their changes in value.

The best way depends on whether you will be making additional investments.
You can either set it up as 1 or 1000 shares and adjust the share price over time to match the current value, (best if you are not making additional investments) or X shares at $1.00QWin Premier subscription2
