How to delete many duplicated downloaded transactions

Quicken downloaded a year's worth of Vanguard transactions that were already entered, so these are duplicates. Is there an easy way to delete them en masse? I know how to do them one by one.

Actually, it turns out the duplicated downloads happened for many investment accounts. Is this something that happens after running "Validate"? I ran that yesterday.0

In R31.5 they added this feature that will allow you do to that.
- Improved: Added a Select option to the Investments register so multiple entries can be modified as a group. To use this feature, select the gear icon and choose Edit multiple transactions. Use the check box in the Select column for each item you want to edit, then choose one of the options at the bottom of the screen.

Thank you Chris,
I see how to find the Select option. Does this mean I must first allow them to be entered into the register and then hunt for them? Right now, they are in the Downloaded Transactions window. Is there a way to delete them from the Downloaded Transactions?

I personally don't use it, so I'm not up on the latest details, someone else can fill that in. I understand they recently added multiple select/delete in the Downloaded Transactions tab, but I think that was only in the non investment accounts.
If that is true, yes you will have to accept them into the register and then delete them.Signature:

OK, thanks. I will wait to learn if someone knows how to mass delete from Downloaded Transactions window. If not, I will proceed with your method. I'm a little worried about finding them all.0

I was just looking at the new "Edit Multiple Transactions" list window and you can sort by the Clr status. So if you make sure the existing transactions are all reconciled, then it should be an easy matter getting the new transactions grouped together and deleted. You would only have to worry about not deleting new transactions that aren't already in the register.Signature:

You are correct, and I made sure all the existing transactions were Cleared before accepting the duplicate ones. Unfortunately, the new ones are accepted as Cleared! So I still had to hunt.
It probably would have worked if I had made the existing ones Reconciled instead of Cleared. I'll try that on the next account.0 -
