Can a budget to created covering multiple currencies?

Hello, Windows community. I have Q2020 USA and I'm in the process of creating a budget. We are in the unique position of having expenses (and income) across multiple currencies; the US, Canada, and Australia. I'd like to know if it is possible to create a single budget that reflects detailing a category in a specific currency. I'm OK if the overall final budget number is in the home country. Simply want to know if each category can reflect the currency of the country from which the expense is mapped to?

No it can't.  You can't even set a given category to be a given currency.  Currency in Quicken is tied to the account it is in, not the category.

Hi and thanks for confirming. You said, "Currency in Quicken is tied to the account it is in, not the category", so, if I have identified, for example, one account property in US$ and another account in CDN$, would the category I map to the US$ not be in US$, versus the account I map to CDN$ not then be in CDN$? Just clarifying my understanding. Thanks!

Categories are "global" they aren't tied to any given account or currency.

Say I have a category of Dining.
Now in a USD account I enter a transaction for $5.00 and assign it the category of Dining.
I do the same in an CAD account.

When I go to look at this in the budget if my home currency is USD then the $5.00 from USD account comes through unchanged.  but the $5.00 from the CAD account will be converted to USD.
