Discontinue auto-transactiondownload from bank

Some time ago I set up to have transactions automatically downloaded into my re3gister. I didn't like it after a while, and quit updating the downloads. Every time I go to reconcile, it asks me if I want to update the download transactions. I want to stop the download from the bank so that I don't have to answer the question each month. I've called the bank and was told Quicken had to do it. I called quicken and was told the bank has to do. Does anyone know the correct process and what department would handle? Thank you

Open the account register, press Ctrl + Shift + E, select the Online Services tab, select Deactivate, Yes, and, if prompted, OK, and OK.1
