Quicken Start-up Latency

I have noticed recently that Quicken is taking a long time time to start-up, and then to complete a One Step Update.

Any suggestions? I am running R31.12.

Thank you for reaching out on the community and telling us about your issue. I do apologize for the issue you're having. Is it only the startup that takes a while or if you were to try updating later on would it have a similar issue? If you were to try loading into another file would we experience a similar issue?
