    New to this and not sure if this is the place to ask.... looking for recommendations/ how tos on converting QB data to Q Mac subscription.

    No Q product, Win or Mac, can read a QB data file.
    SO, since it's still relatively early in the year, I suggest that you start Q from scratch as of 1/1/21, and keep QB around for historical reference.
