File Conversion and Backup (Windows)
I have Numerous Quicken Files on my Desktop I use only 2020.dat

but I have SyncLog.Dat; 2018SyncLog.D2018 BKPOFX log.DAt,& a few other Sync Log IF I delete these other files ,will that interfere with my current file that I use regularly

Quicken places some log files in the same folder where it finds your main .QDF data file.
If you don't want to see these on your desktop, move your .QDF file somewhere else. The most typical place is in the folder \Users\
YourName
\Documents\Quicken\ . The files will still be created, but you won't have to look at them and you can delete the leftover ones from your desktop.

No. The files you've identified are just log files used to debug problems should they occur.
To prevent the log files from appearing on your desktop, I suggest you access the Quicken files in another folder on an internal drive. The typical location of Quicken file is a folder named Quicken in the users' Documents folder.
