I have a Quicken U.S. account, how do I import my Canadian financial institution account information?

Unfortunately you can't. In Quicken Windows there is a completely different list of financial institutions for Quicken Windows US and Quicken Windows Canadian. There is a couple of financial institutions that are on both list, but not many. Mostly looks like because they are Canadian financial institutions that are based in the US.
You could import the transactions in QIF format (or convert from another format to QIF and import), but that is about it for what is supported. If you need to do a conversion you can use this program:

Note if you were using the Mac version you could import for both, but they have limited the Windows versions.Signature:

You can however switch across to the Canadian product at renewal and start using it directly where you left off. Switch to downloading Canadian institutions but not US ones. Depends which one you have more of and automating that side. This ignores all the other differences between the products of course?0
