What financial institution name did you use, in Q, for your Discover card?  Because Q CAN download from Discover.
Do TOOLS, Account List for the name of the FI that you used.

OK, that's the correct FI name.  SO, what specifically happens when you try to download from them?  What error codes or messages?  Have you downloaded from them previously?  Can you download successfully from other banks, cards, etc?

I can't download from Discover either. I get the message that it can't verify the account information from Discover Card Account Center

The Norton VPN was my issue as well. Thanks for the answer.

Quicken downloads Discover Card transactions just fine EXCEPT a period from 5/4/2020 thru 6/30/2020. Checked Discover website. Statements for that period appear the same as others. Any ideas?

Can you sign into the Discover website ... and initiate a download from there?  IF SO, and if it will let you specify a date range, all the better.
If it won't let you specify a date range just download what you can and expect that Q will reject a bunch of transactions as Duplicates.
BE SURE to take a backup before  you try this ... just in case.
ALSO, be aware that the download MIGHT not be able to go back that far ... in which case you've got some typing to do.
