Duplicate Accounts

    Thank you for taking the time to visit the Community to report this issue, although I apologize that you have not received a response.

    I would start by restoring a backup prior to this duplication occurring.

    To help isolate the cause to prevent this from happening, can you tell us if you can think of anything that changed or that happened prior to this occurring? 

    Please let me know if you see the same behavior happen again in the restored file.

    I have the same issue. Last weekend random duplicate accounts just showed up. I thought maybe they would randomly go away, but they haven't. I havent done a backup or restore for a couple of months. Now I have accounts name for example Key2, or CapOne2. One is empty, one has transactions from 2019.
