A transaction is downloaded though I didn't spend that amount

When I update my accounts in Quicken for Windows (build R31.20), a transaction for $248.53 appears in my register. The description says "LoanPayment". I looked at every account I have at the bank (by logging in to the bank web site) and don't find that amount. The bank can't find it either.

This has happened twice in the past month. Any idea how to stop this?

    If you haven't done so already, I'd say it's time to call Quicken Support on the phone and request help.  Let them do a screen share session with you to review a download log file on your computer, to determine the nature of the problem and to figure out how to fix it.

    Just to clarify - a few details -
    Which register for what bank -
    and how is it setup - Direct Connect or Express Web Connect ?
    Do you have any kind of Loan acct setup in Quicken ?
    Are you doing - One Step Update ?
