I am getting the cc 501 error

Cc 501 error when updating Home Trust Bank with Quicker starter. The bank says it is a quicken issue. Please advise as this has been happening for several days.

Quicken Support

Still getting the cc 501 error with Home Trust Bank. I have had this before and it was months until it stopped. Now I wonder if I should renew my account this month. What a pain!!

Same CC-501 Error today with three accounts at California Coast Credit Union. Have submitted an online error report to Support.

Sometimes I get the cc 501 and later the cc 502.

Could this be related to the next round of Covid-19 relief payments? It has been reported here that many banks are expecting a high volume of online activity. In order to maintain their systems, some banks are limiting the amount of traffic to their servers, which may cause temporary issues when attempting to download from these banks into Quicken. We just received our payments today.

It could be. However, I contacted Home Trust Bank and they said they have not restricted downloads.

Help / Report a problem won't work in this situation. Something will have to be done inside one of the Quicken servers to reset your bank connection.
