Interac e-transfers from Simplii Financial download as TXFRs - FRUSTRATING! I have to accept each transaction, then edit it. It will not recognize an e-transfer as a deposit, only a transfer.

Sounds like something that the financial institution has to fix. Is this with Web Connect (QFX file) or Express Web Connect?
This was happening for a while recently for USAA and in the OFX data they had all the transactions coded as a transfer type instead of Credit/Debit. In reality they probably should never use the transfer type because even if it is a transfer there is no telling if the other account is even in Quicken. Best to let the user/Quicken figure it out.Signature:

ISSUE: Interac e-transfers from Simplii Financial download as a TXFR - instead of a deposit. FRUSTRATING!
Chris, THANKS for such a quick answer. I use Web Connect. How do I go about reporting it to the Quicken team to investigate & resolve it?0 -
Well you can report it to Quicken Support, but the only people that can change it is the financial institution, they are the ones that created that file. EDIT just to be clear, you need to contact your financial institution, it is doubtful Quicken Support will do it for you.
Contact Quicken Support (disable popup blockers)
You can also find the phone number in your Quicken.com account.Signature:

I JUST found a work around. If I enter the Payee, Category, and Amount first, the download will show a match. When the match is accepted, it maintains and populates the MEMO field, I.E. who the transfer was from.0
