Quicken Cannot Find New Stock Symbol!
Pat Sills
I own a preferred stock with the symbol ETPPRE. Quicken was always able to find and determine the daily value of this stock, until today. The symbol changed to ETPRE. Merrill Lynch sees this stock as ET.PRE. Quicken will not recognize either new symbol and assigns a value of zero to the stock. Will Quicken fix this? At very least, how can I override Quicken and get the correct value plugged in. I've never had this problem before and have been using Quicken for 15 years.
