I have two pre-tax deduction that are not related to 401k. How do i set those up so they do not show as income in the tax planner?

TOOLS, Manage Bill and Income Reminders,  click ADD (at the top of the window), and click "Paycheck Setup Wizard" at the bottom on the "ADD" window.

Use the paycheck wizard and select the type of pre-tax deductions that best represent your situation.
  • Where in my windows version of Quicken Deluxe do I find the Paycheck Wizard? There is no obvious menu choice for that. I have been using Quicken for a while, and I've not seen this tool before.

There's also a link in the Planning Tab, Tax Center, Taxable Income YTD section.  Using the in-product help would also direct you yo it.
