Quickfill is out of date

My quickfill is not staying up to date with the latest information I have entered into transactions. An example is if I have a new payee that payee won't show up in the quickfill suggestions. It's like the quickfill suggestions are frozen in time and are no longer updated to current data. Is there a setting I messed up when I installed and switched to the latest version?

See is Edit -> Preferences -> Data entry and QuickFill -> Automatically memorized new payees, is selected.1
