Quicken shows downloaded transactions during one step update however I can not see them to accept. I have a red flag indicating there are transaction to update (which there should be) however they do no appear in my register for my Roth investment account. First time this has happened.

Check EDIT, Preferences, Downloaded Transactions .... and UNcheck any "Automatically add ... " options at the top of the window. Also, check the sort order in your account. You can change the sort order of any account by clicking on the COLUMN HEADER in that account, and clicking again to reverse the sort order.
