How do I get my Market Value to show something

Question

I have an investment with a company fund, it isn't on the stock market and it always has a value of $1.00.  I can't seem to get or input the Quote value so this shows me a Market value of $0.  Which it shouldn't .  Just need to know how I can input a Quote value to make the system generate a Market value.

Thank you for taking the time to visit the Community to ask your question although, I apologize that you have not received a response.

To access the price history of a security select Window > Securities.

Then locate the security in question and double click to see more options.

Then select "Price History" to enter the quote.

In the brokerage account under transactions, what type of transactions are you entering for these holdings? Are you enter a "Buy" or "Add Shares" transaction?
