My Amex was compromised and the company provided me a new CC. I added that card to my accounts. When I downloaded my transactions I now have duplicate entries. How can I fix? Thanks so much for the help!

    Hello @jimredsox

    Thank you for reaching out on the community and telling us about your issue. I do apologize for the issue you're having. When it comes to duplicate transactions there are a couple of ways that you're able to deal with removing the new duplicates that you're seeing.  One of the easiest would be to sort by the status column and all new downloaded transactions will appear first. This in turn lets you delete a block of transactions that already exists which could work. Additionally I'll leave an article down below with more information on deleting duplicates.

    IF you have any questions please let us know and we'll see what we can do.

    Thanks,

    @Quicken Francisco The method for deleting duplicate transactions seem "inefficient" selecting one a time.

    @jimredsox
    The faster way to do this to sort the register by Order Entered, that will put the new transactions at the bottom of the register.  Then you should be able to select multiple transactions at a time by clicking on the first one, and then holding down the shift key and right clicking last and selecting to delete the transactions from the menu (the right click combines finishing the select and bring up the menu).

    Be sure to make a backup before starting, just in case.

    Thanks for the help. I read the article. @Quicken Francisco
    Thanks @Chris_QPW

    Some questions.... Really appreciate the help.

    When you mean by sorting by "Ordered Enter" are you referring to the "Date" field? Thats the date of the charge. I then find the duplicate download IDs and delete correct?

    Which dup should I delete? Original or New transaction? My assumption is to delete the new one because the old card (original) has months of history that I can hover over and see.

    What should I do with the original account credit card when I have finished?

    Thanks again!

    You delete the new ones because they will be grouped together where as the old ones will not be.
