How do I add a sweep (money market) account to my existing IRA (and Roth IRA)? I'm adding historical transactions including a money fund, but when I sell shares of that fund, the proceeds don't shop up in 'Cash', they are "N/A".

The N/A indicates that there are one or more Placeholders in your account. These prevent you from entering transactions that affect the cash balance prior to the Placeholder date
If you have not already, go to Edit > Preferences > Investing Transactions and make sure Show Hidden Transactions is selected. This will make the Placeholders visible. T
hen follow the directions here to resolve and delete the placeholders
