Why does my syncing and cloud keep processing data - its like a an ongoing loop?

The only way to stop it is to use task manager. This is a new occurrence and frustrating. No error messages just keeps looping?

    Thank you for taking the time to visit the Community to post your issue although, I apologize that you're experiencing this trouble.

    I would first reset the cloud if you are able to do so. 
    1. Go to Quicken > Preferences > Connected Services.
    2. In the Cloud Account section, click Reset.
    This reset may take some time to complete. If the sync continues to persist, please allow it to continue to see if the program closes/crashes.
