The new Quicken not working

I have used Quicken for over 40 now the new functions have made my uses almost
imposable. I use Quicken every day and the ability to research is no longer helpful. What use to be easy commands are very completed. Why are the changes necessary?

Maybe you could give some tangible detailed examples here?
I've used Quicken since DOS days and while Quicken has certainly changed considerably from then to now but I can't say that researching - historical data presumably - is materially harder than it used to be. Indeed some of the added search functions have made the task considerably easier.
