Searching for Question Marks

Hi,
When I download new transactions and do not know the specifics of the transaction, I sometimes use three question marks (???) so that I can locate and enter additional information at a later time.
However, when I search using the CTRL-F (find) dialog using ??? as the search string, I get many, many results. I suspect Quicken is interpreting the question mark as a wildcard. My question: how can I search for and locate my precious ??? items amongst several thousands of transactions? Thank you!

Well even though Find and Replace uses ? as a wild card the search in the register doesn't.
Typing in that search box will filter the register with the transactions that match and it does so for any field.
Or use this search box with \? to find all of the transactions in all registers/fields.

Put a backslash before the question mark like: \?Signature:

Many thanks Chris_QPW! Your tip allows me to find any transaction where ??? is the ONLY text present in the (in this case, Memo) field. My original question could have been more clear - how can I find all transactions with ??? in any field, including fields containing OTHER text, as well. For example, "PURCHASE 05/14 800-966-6546 AR CARD 1234 ???"
Thank you - love this forum!0 -

Maybe you should think about using something else. Like for memo I type "What?" Or make a category called What. I looked though my category list and even have one I set up called "Need Category". Forgot I made that one. Have to see what's in there.
I'm staying on Quicken 2013 Premier for Windows.
