Installing Quicken Deluxe 2017 on a new computer

I recently purchased a new computer. How can I install my Quicken Deluxe 2017 program on my new computer? I do not wish to purchase the new version of Quicken.

    To install Quicken 2017 on a new computer, you should open the Quicken 2017 installation program used to installed Quicken 2017 on the original computer.  After you have installed Quicken 2017, I suggest you apply the Quicken 2017 R20.5 Mondo patch.  Quicken patches are available at: http://www.quicknperlwiz.com/quickenpatches.html

    i had the same problem. I was running quicken 2017 on a windows 10 computer upgraded to windows 11 no problem. I installed quicken 2017 on a new window 11 notebook. I could not get it to open my old data file even though it would sometimes show the program loading for seconds and then go to the blank box. I read a post on this site and reinstalled the program again and copied the old config directory from programdata directory/intuit/quicken directory to the new install directory. Everything loads now.
