Merge data in two accounts

How can I merge all data in two accounts (an old and a new credit card account)? Whenever I get a new credit card, I get a new CC number. Quicken creates a new account. But I want to merge all data into one account.

If the new number is for an existing account, you shouldn't have to create a new CC account.   You can change the number of the original account and just continue adding data to that one account.

When you get a replacement CC #, just deactivate One Step Update for the account, remove the account info on the Account Details window when you edit the account (Tools menu->Account List), then when you activate the new account #, make sure you select "link" and NOT "add".
