activity in me checking account lagging in quicken

activity that shows up in my banks web page such as a crashed check or e-transaction seem to take two or more days to be reflected in quicken. what's going on?

You can see on the Account List (Tools menu) which you are using.

So there can be a delay. 

My CU does not download anything until the next day since they have an overnight process to makes the information available for download.  It used to be immediate, but they changed to a different software provider and their service has declined.
