I recently added a new Chase credit card, however when I try to add the account to quicken nothing shows up. Any ideas how long you need to wait until Quicken will be able to add the account? Its been several days...

Try going to the Chase website and downloading/importing the Quicken Web Connect/QFX file.
When you click on the account name you will find the button below to start the download.

Do you already have other Chase accounts setup in Quicken ?
If not, did you find the area on the Chase online website
to allow and authorize outside software access to your Chase accounts ?

I already have existing chase accounts and have authorized them in the chase website years ago.

ok... so what happens from the Add Account setup steps ... are you using the Chase entry ?
Does it get added just fine - no errors - but then nothing gets downloaded with One Step Update ?

So after downloading the QFX form Chase and linking it to my account, I deactivated the account and re ran through he setup. This time the new account showed up as well Chase asked me to confirm my identity with my txt code. I noticed it was also showing my other existing chase accounts but since they were already setup I could not link those to them. So I deactivated all my chase accounts and re activated them all. Now everything is working...

It is strange that it wasn't detected with the normal add account process, but I'm glad that "kicking it" with the importing of the QFX file worked for you.

Following your reset seems to have worked on my end too. I can't seem to get the "improved connection" to work but that's fine. It works. Thanks for your help.

Did you try what @JeffG35578 tried, and deactivate it and reactivate it?

I did that. And it's working, but when I go to look at the accounts, I'm given a message that there is an improved connection method. That doesn't seem to work and following the instructions on Quicken's site doesn't work.

When you deactivate and set it up again, make sure you go into the Advanced Options and select Direct Connect.

For some reason, I wasn't given the advanced option when I reactivated it. I was when I tried originally adding it, but turning off auto entry, restarting, deactivating, restarting, and reactivating didn't give me the Advanced option. Just brought up the link account option.

That's what I got when I tried adding the accounts anew (didn't work, which is why I came here, so I followed your instructions to download the QFX file), but deactivating and reactivating them didn't give me the advanced option.

I think you are missing some points.

You deactivate the account for downloading, then you select the + icon in the Account bar to start the Add Account dialogs.  You then follow the steps I gave above to get to the Advanced Options dialog and select Direct Connect.  Continue until you get to the dialog that shows your accounts and instead of adding a new account link to the one that you already setup with the QFX import.

Ah, I see. Instead of reactivating the accounts per the account edit | online tab, I should add the accounts again. I'll try that.
