Installing and Updating (Windows)
Need to install on a second laptop
squasher
The license agreement for updating my subscription for another 12 months says, It can be installed on more than 1 computer. When I try to install with the key sent to me, it says Its invalid because it was used once already. How do I fix this. The second laptop uses a different mail ID. Can anyone advise?

Yes, that is correct. The subscription is connected to the Quicken Id/email address. If you create another one that one would need a subscription too, which for most people you wouldn't want to do.

You don't need an activation key for the second computer. The activation key is recorded in the Quicken Id/account for the subscription.
All you should have to do is install Quicken and log in with your Quicken Id connected to the subscription.

SO it will update the second PC without a code if I login on that PC with the original account? TY for answering.
