Why are bill reminders not moved to correct date sequence?

Bill reminders post at bottom of register and remain there even after date has past. How do I get them in the correct chronological sequence?

The reminders should remain in the tab until you enter, skip, delete, or reschedule the reminder: right-click on the reminder
The reminders displayed in the tab may be sorted by date they are due: left click on the Due column title in the tab.0 -
