Verify connection to cloud

When I try to update accounts I get the message "verifying connection to cloud". It never does and I have to force quit (Quicken not responding). How do I fix this?

    I don't know what causes that; perhaps someone else will jump in. The one suggestion I can offer to try is to do Sign Out on the Quicken menu, and then Sign In again -- and then try updating your accounts again.

    Solution was too simple. I turned my computer off & restarted it. Everything works great now :)
