i am having similar issues. I keep getting a 502 error. I can not even set up account to download transactions. Was working fine until about 2 weeks ago. Now, Quicken says it is not set up to download.0

Thank you for reaching out to the Community regarding your issue, although I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with synchrony bank. We are currently aware of the issue and are working on resolving it as well. I would recommend following the post down below for any updated in formation.
