I just wanted spending to be on the report, not income. How can I do that?
In editing the report, click on the Categories tab and deselect all income categories. (There's no way to do that in one shot, unfortunately; you have to scroll through the list and uncheck the income categories.)

There's no option for setting the date range on a report to the current week (or previous week) by name, the way you can with Current Month or Current Year. You'd have to do a custom date range & specify the first & last date of the desired week.
Or you could do a Category Summary by Year report, set the date range to Current Year and set the interval to Week. That would give you a report with one column for each week in the year.
