How to record a stock split in a "simple" account?
JeremyGNJ
I track a private stock in a "Simple - Positions Only" account. However the stock has recently split and I cannot find a way to record that properly. Am I missing something?

I just figured out how to do it.
I made a fake offline-brokerage account. Added one share of private stock.....recorded the split there...then deleted the fake offline account.
Weird to have to jump through hoops. Should just be able to record a split against a stock itself somehow.

Another way to work around this would be to change back to "Complete" temporarily to make the entry in the account.
