memorized transactions showing up despite preferances not to (Q Mac)

I have set my prefencacnces not to but transactions sre still being memorized

    Options
    What do you mean by "memorized"? Are transactions for Payees auto-filling with category, and possibly amount or memo? Have you opened the Windows> Payees & Rules and clicked on the QuickFill Rules tab? That's where these rules live. If you had created some and now don't want them, you can delete them from here.
