Can I enter a yearly total for each budget category and will Quicken then deduct expenses from the total and print out a monthly report?

Not exactly. Quicken will record your actual expenses, and the budget will show actual versus budge for each month as well as year-to-date. The budget report is not configurable; you may need to export to a .csv file and edit it in Excel or Numbers to show just the data you want.Quicken Mac Subscription • Quicken user since 19930
