Truist switched my online BB&T account to the Truist account today and I can no longer download transactions.

Nothing, it was straight forward. I had Quicken open and clicked on the link. When it confirmed Registration I returned to Quicken and set up Online Transactions for my checking with my BB&T password and it recognized all my BB&T accounts.

I suspect mine is included in my account because of my mortgage. Mine did not break until I had to transition my online banking from BB&T to Truist. That is when I had to go through the steps.

It is my understanding that BB&T/SunTrust/Truist did not notify Quicken and Intuit of the changes they were making because of the merger. Quicken is working with Intuit and Truist to get the script changes made that will add Truist to the Financial Institutions Directory list. I have been able to update my accounts since Aug 21. I am still using BB&T as the bank and my Truist id and password. This is for Quicken Connect and Express Web Connect methods. I don't use Direct Connect due to the subscription cost from the bank.

All my BBT accounts stopped working properly this weekend and if Truist wants us to pay $8/mth FEE for what BBT was offering for free, it's time to find another bank - sadly.

Did you get an error code? If so, which one?

If not, would you please explain in more detail exactly what issue(s) you encountered?

I worked with BB&T Digital Support to get my Quicken to update yesterday. Now getting through was a challenge and it did take two calls to get an agent that was truly knowledgeable and patient enough to work through the issue with me. Glad I persevered because I was getting very perturbed with Truist.

I was finally able to work with a rep from Truist who was very helpful. I have banked with SunTrust for many years and about 6 weeks ago, I could no longer download my banking transactions into Quicken and have been manually entering them since. However, yesterday, the rep suggested I simply "deactivate" my SunTrust accounts and then "reactivate" them. I did that and I can once again download into Quicken. The activation and reaction process is different for Mac vs Windows so I suggest you go to the help screen in Quicken and follow the appropriate procedures. It worked for me. I hope it does for all of you as well.

Truist is now listed as a supported bank in Quicken. Worked seamlessly for me.

This is the Quicken entry for TRUIST Bank - and it appears to only support the Express Web Connect

However, several other banks do in fact re-direct their web URL to the Truist.com domain

The Truist website says Quicken can connect with DC, EWC and WC but I didn't see details about how to connect with any of these. EWC seems to be pretty straight forward but DC and WC might still need to be routed via the BB&T and SunTrust links. I would imagine that anyone who wants to connect with DC and/or WC will need to inquire with their bank.:
