Cryptocurrency tracking
Grandstander1
As the largest growing asset class, it's time for us to have the ability to track our crypto assets in Quicken, with real-time or delayed price updates.
Also, the asset classes need an addition. You have stocks, bonds, mutual funds etc. but no ETFs.
Thank you.

EFTs are
not
an asset class, nor are mutual funds; they are a type of
account
which hold securities. The securities held by an EFT or mutual fund can be any asset class or mix of asset classes.
As for cryptocurrencies, you're correct that a new asset class is needed for this. I think this is bundled into support of cryptocurrencies in Quicken as a whole. This is planned, according to the developers, but it requires a lot of work "under the hood" because Quicken was built to track securities to 6 decimal places, and cryptocurrencies require 8 decimal places. You can see
the existing Idea request for this functionality here
. It is not necessary to add a vote for this, as the developers have already marked this as a planned future feature.
