How to Create CD Account that is a Roth IRA
cminarik_1953
Quicken seems to think that all IRAs are Investing accounts. Mine is a Certificate of Deposit.
How do I set this account up in Quicken

You set up an IRA Account and buy the CD as a security in the IRA. Set the CD up as a security for $1 per share. So a 10,000 CD would be 10,000 shares at $1. The CD is in the IRA not the other way around.

OR, set the CD up (in an investment IRA) as if it's a BOND, then you can input both interest rate and maturity date.
