Getting an error while entering a transaction in indian rupee
Mani
The amount of the investment transaction is the equivalent of USD3 million i.e. in indian rupees 210,000,000. Quicken does not allow me to enter the transaction in INR stating that amount exceeds maximum of USD99,99,999,99

I think the limit is actually 99 million of whatever currency you are using.
One way to work around this would be to enter the transaction as multiple smaller transactions, for example 3 transactions of 70 million rupees each.
[edit to add] If you frequently have transactions of this size, Quicken is probably not the best product for you.

Quicken just wasn't designed for use with currencies that need such large numbers. In the US and Canada, anyone with those high of numbers would have a whole accounting firm taking care of their finances and Quicken wouldn't be in the picture at all.

Brilliant - splitting the transaction works. Thanks Jim
